Rose absolute from Bulgaria.

Species: Rosa damascena Mill.  Family:  Rosaceae.

The scent is sweet and honey-like.  It is soft and floral but a full-spectrum rose. In normal comfortable human environs the Bulgarian Rose tends to solidify and we recommend a gentle, warming, hot-water-bath.  At the end-user level it is also not a bad idea to dilute rose in a carrier to reduce potency and make the material last for years.  It is possible the cost of true rose oil could double in the next 10 years. T he world demand for quality rose will continue to increase faster than the ability to produce.  The operative word is quality.  Bulgarian material is regarded as excellent.
